Mount Zion Cemetery has been meeting the burial needs of the Jewish Community for more than a century. Our first burial took place on May 5, 1893. To date we have made more than 210,000 burials. Mount Zion Cemetery is governed by and acts in accordance with the Not-For-Profit Corporation Laws of the State of New York.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the annual meeting of Lot Owners of ELMWIER CEMETERY ASSOCIATION, INC., maintaining and operating Mount Zion Cemetery, will be held at the Office of the Cemetery, 59-63 54th Avenue, Maspeth, Borough and County of Queens, New York, on Monday, March 23rd at 2:00 P.M. for the election of Directors and for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof.

When it is time for you to make a decision about a final resting place for you and your loved ones please consider Mount Zion Cemetery. This cemetery is rich in heritage and provides a sense of nostalgia. We have both individual gravesites as well as family plots available. We suggest that you make an appointment to select your gravesite however; every effort will be made to accommodate walk-ins.
